The sixth season of Young Sheldon It arrives on CBS this fall, to follow up on the network’s most successful comedy series. It was announced two years ago, before CBS All Access became Paramount+, that HBO Max would be the source for the live stream of Young Sheldonjoin predecessor The Big Bang Theory on the broadcast service. Since then, entire seasons of the series have been added to HBO Max before the start of the new season. Thursday Morning brings season five to the HBO Max lineup, with season six premiering on CBS later this month.
Season 5 of Young Sheldon included the show’s 100th episode, a major milestone for a minor title. While there were some big stories revealed, there was nothing to be done about it being Episode 100.
“We didn’t want to force some kind of unquoted quote from the special because it just so happened to be number 100,” co-author Stephen Molaro said. Limit. “We really just wanted to create an episode that we were excited about writing and not be constrained by the fact that we were celebrating a number that I think most viewers might not care about.”
The episode featured a few key moments and revelations, including the news that Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie, might be having a baby with his new girlfriend. There is also an important conversation between Sheldon and Macy that throws in some big allusions about Sheldon’s sexuality, which are never fully addressed. The Big Bang Theory.
“I think Macy (Raagan Rayford) has spent some time trying to understand who her brother is and what his sexual orientation is… which, we know, through The Big Bang Theory, has been a question mark for me for a long time,” Molaro explained.
